What do you prefer? Shaving or using hair removal products such as Veet & Nair. and Why?
hair removal can be of two methods one is epilation and second is depilation First one removes hair entirely and the second one removes the hair thats above the surface of the skin. If you want to remove hair permanently or for a long time, you have to choose the first option. Epilation methods are
Plucking
Waxing ( Sugaring )
Threading
Epilators
Medications
Turmeric
Electrolysis
Laser
Intense pulsed light
Vaniqa
More information can be found on how to remove hair from the above methods on beauticianworld.com .Depilation methods are also mentioned there
how long do the results last? will i have to do it again?
Yes, but you need to repeat the laser treatment few times (like 5 or so…). The result also depends on your skin and hair color – for example it is not very effective for blonde hair (but if you need to remove dark hair it should work fine).
You should also choose the laser clinic carefully. If someone who makes the laser treatment is not skilled enough, he can make more harm than good and the results will be miserable.
Nobody in my family (including even my dad) has shoulder hair. But my shoulders are so hairy. I’ve been waxing them and using kalo hair inhibitor because I think it’s embarassing. What do you guys say about this?
I think it’s much more common that you think. Btw, I’m assuming your a male at this point. If you are a female that’s weird. lol! I see a lot of it at my community pool.
Hi, i have lots of ingrown hairs and scars from it on my lower stomach right under my belly button. There are probably about 20 hairs. How much would laser hair removal cost for the first treatment..and in all?
I’m interested in going to a place in Piedmont in Oakland, Ca.
Thanks!!
Usually the treatment causes 1 to 3 hours and needs a repeated treatment every 6 months or 12 months until the whole hair follicle gets damaged. Repeated treatment is needed as some hair follicle get escaped. So how many times …..it depends on the machine, the person doing the treatment and finally the body nature of yours. A treatment session may cost $400 to $3000 and more according to the area and clinical charges

I am 12 and my mom wont let me use stuff like Nair and Veet. Things that have chemicals that take the hair off. What about smooth away? I dont want anything that leaves stubble and I need it for upper lip and arms. Thanks!
Ooh…..my friend uses smooth away and she said it works great for her! And she has thick hair; so it must be good.
I suggest not shaving your arms though….the hair tends to grow back fast and thick.
Good luck~
I am a swimmer and i love swimming everyday, it’s just i am getting so fed up of shaving or waxing everyday. I want to try a permanent hair removal system, are there any that actually exists. Are there any Home Kits which actually work
No, I think the only permanent hair removal procedure is laser hair removal. I could be wrong though, you should look it up online. But you have to wax everyday? That’s a shame..it should last up to 4-6 weeks. Maybe get a stronger wax next time..?
Good Luck
I went for laser it dint work on the contrary i go for threading once in a week before laser it was once in 15days i do not have any hormonal imbalance
Electrolysis, its a permanent way to remove your hair. But i wouldn’t say it was the best. Depenting on your hair roots and the type of skin you have their could be side effects such as pain and you might have to go more than once in a period of 12-18 months until it is absolutely permenentally removed.
I wanna get a bare vagina, pussy, whatever you wanna call it. Anyways i got told not to shave otherwise i’ll get razar burn instead to use hair removal. But does it really work?
Nice, classy language. No, in my opinion Nair does not work. I wouldn’t suggest putting it down there either. Just shave.
My mom used one years ago… and doesn’t have a single hair on her legs! But she cant remember the products name.
My mom is from Jamaica… so the product is more likely made in London.
Revitol has a good hair removal cream go to this link and click hair removal cream.

I want to get laser hair removal for both my underarms, full legs & full bikini. What would a good estimate be?
permanent hair removal usually involves several sessions. The price of each session depends on the surface area of the treatment, or the size of the area for which you want to remove your hair. I’ve heard estimates ranging $75-150 per session, and some people need 10-15 sessions before hair removal is permanent. That means you’ll pay at least $1,000 over the course of the treatment, but probably more like $2,000+
