i’m kind of hairy..i have hair basically everywhere but the places it concerns me most is my stomach and bootayyy. people think im pretty and guys like me…no one really notices my hair problems, it just makes me feel bad and prohibits me from having a boyfriend or doing things….you know what i mean =] guys out there does being hairy matter that much? oh im almost 17. also do you think i should wax stomach..and other areas?? will it grow back thinner? also ive been looking up hair inhibitors..creams and stuff to put on after shaving/waxing to make hair grow back less..has anyone hear of kalo and is it good? if there are any others you have heard of do tell! thanks everyone!!!!!

do not shave anything but your legs and armpits.
I made that mistake of trying to get rid of the peach fuzz on my stomach and lower back
shaving does not make your hair grow ack thicker but it does cut off the fine tip of the hair and makes it grow back with a blunt edge vs the finer edge
so I prefer waxing because it doesnt appear grow back in thick and darker because you are pulling the whole hair out fromt he roots

good luck!

Has anyone got any suggestion on good hair removal machines. I have been shaving my body hair until now and always seem to get ingrowing hairs and that, I really want to try some new methods of hair removal.
I’ve tried waxing but i can’t stand the pain – what do you girls use?

Ron,
Just go and buy you a hair cutting shaver kit. This is what I use to shave my boys heads every summer to give them thier ‘Buzz’ look. My one son has such thick hair, barber’s usually do not like to cut his hair, that is how thick his hair is to cut. And this kit works for even his thick hair! I shave it down to the head too! And will continue to do this throughout the summer, anytime thier heads would start to looking like it was growing back. However, if you just got something like that, and then for like the ingrown hairs, just pluck them! Get yourself some really good tweezers to pluck the hair follicals that give you trouble. And the rest just shave! I went and bought one of those, ‘Smooth Away’s’, and it worked ‘wonderfully’! For me, however my daughter did not use it correctly and she complained, that she thought it was a rip-off! I told her she didn’t press hard enough. She said "But Mom it says not to press hard!" I told her that this was the only way to make it work. So, there’s another thought for you to try, and this also makes your skin so silky soft, at the same time. I dont know if your looking for soft or not, but it will make your skin really soft. Just like you already applied lotion right afterwards, like we women usually do after we have shaved any body hair. So, I’ve given you a few options to choose from. If anyone has any better idea’s than I do then Kudo’s to them! Good Luck to you! Interesting questions deserve stars! Smile!!

How long a full body wax normally last and how painful is it? I am asking because shaving is difficult and doesn’t last as long as I would like.

Also, is there anything I could buy for permanent hairhair removal? As I have naturally dark hair that grows back really quickly.

Thank you

Ive been getting my eyebrows and lip waxed for about 10 years now, and while the pain stings, it hurts a whole heck of a lot less than tweezing each individual hair. If I shave its back the next day, waxing new hairs start a few days later, but about 2-3 weeks before its back like it was before.

I have REALLY dark thick hairs on my arms and legs. I finally decided to get my arms waxed, and my goodness I wish I had done it a long time ago! The arm hairs did start growing back within a week, but very few and they were much finer. I had tried all those do it at home wax strips and they had never worked before, now they do as long as I do it weekly to get the light new growth. The arm waxing really did not hurt very much. Once they rip it off you’ll sting for about 10 seconds, and its gone! No more pain than like a belly flop in a pool.

Sadly I have found nothing for doing it at home that works permanently. I’ve tried so many things, so if you find something that works, Id love to hear it!!
Good luck :)

i know you can get laser treatment to kills off hair folicules (or something along those lines) but that is costly. Are there any hair removal creams that are permanent, rather than just removing hair temporarily for the same length of time as shaving?

no creams just dissolve the hair, if you could get permanent creams they might be dangerous if wrongly use and so not available off the shelf

I currently shave and its becoming a real hassle. I would like to wax but i am unsure what brand of wax/hair removal creme that would be safe to use down there.

dont shave, it can lead to ingrown hairs – which can be really dangerous. I would use a combination of trimming and using Veet wax strips / epilator / or the best option is to get it done by a pro – get a recommdation for a beatician , its not expensive

Hello everyone, I have a question for you.
Back when I was a teen, I used to shave my head, and now that I’m a bit older and starting to bald I’ve decided to start shaving it again. The problem is I have a mole on the back of my head which I would cut every time I shaved, and I would end up with horrible razor burn despite taking every precaution.
So my question is: Can hair removal products similar to Veet and Nair be used to remove head hair?

Yes They will remove head hair but try on a small spot before you do because it can give you a rash or something. Also remember it it will remove all the hair off. No stubble.

I recently removed my facial hair with a lotion hair remover and it burned parts of my face. It has almost healed, no scars left behind. However I want to know what other method of hair removal can I use? Something affordable and something that will reduce the appearance of hair over time… thanks in advance!

Waxing or bleaching

I can’t seem to find one on the net and I have checked both the veet for men and the nair for men sites. If anyone knows where to buy one please post the link.

Use any, there not just directed at women

Is there a way for a guy to get rid of facial hair for a decent amount of time? I’ve heard that you’re not supposed to use Nair on your face, and that’s the only thing that I can think of. And I’ve heard alot of horror stories about laser hair removal burning you. Any other ways?

There is lasor removal which is expensive otherwise it’s shaving. Sorry
