See, I used this hair-removal product the other day. I’d heard that they ruin your skin and burn a lot, but that didn’t happen to me. I thought it was really good. Anyone else think the same as me??

i agree! i use veet & it doesn’t burn on me, it works, & i get good results!

Yes i do feel the same way as you do and it all depends on the sensitivity of your skin

They work to some extent, I used a product that claimed to remove all the hair, leaving my legs smooth and moisturized. Uhh, yeah it wasn’t that great. Some were removed, a majority wasn’t. It burns your skin after being there for too long, to the point where it bleeds. Not pretty, not pretty at all. So im back to just plain shaving.

But then again … I used nair. It’s a horrible product. Maybe I’ll give veet a try.

my sister used nair but she said it didn’t work. It may have been because she usually shaves with a razor and her hair was just too thick. Since everyone has different hair wether it be in thickness or whatever, products like these dont work for just anyone.

It works great for some people, and not so great for others. It depends on the type of skin you have.
Me for example, I tried using Nair and my skin was really irritated because my skin is kind of sensitive.

But if it doesn’t bother your skin, then go ahead and use it.

Omg. Let me tell you my sad little story:

So, my mom is self-conscious about the hair on her cheekbones, so she got Sally Hansen’s Facial Hair Removal Cream. I was sitting nearby while she was applying it and then she said i should do my upper lip. I said, no, i don’t have even have a moustache. she said i did (and i really didn’t! no more than a normal person would have). She forced me and i left it on just the right time. when i went to take it off, it burned like hell. and my upper lip area was hairless, but very very pink. the next morning, i started to scab there and develop dark red blemishes. it hurt so bad to laugh or even smile. thank god it was thanksgiving break cuz i looked like a burn victim and i wouldn’t like to go to school like that. nyways… after a few days it go better but it didn’t fully heal. i had to tell everyone that i burned myself, when i accidentally drank boiling hot water. (idk, i was in the seventh grade lol) then it started to heal, but it turned blackish! and then my hair started to grow back, so it looked like i had a moustache more than ever! it was so mortifying. for two years, i went on like that. now it’s ALMOST back to normal, but it’s still a bit noticeable. it was a horrifying experience
